Spain, or more accurately Eibar, is home to gunmakers like Arrieta, Grulla Armas, Armas Garbi, V. But overall the shotgun is in great condition considering how old it is.A look into the history, models, and availability of the Spanish handmade AYA shotgunsĪfter the recent film In Our Veins featuring the fourth generation of the AYA name Alex Aranzabal, there has been an increase in emails and questions regarding AYA shotguns and the revival of this Spanish gunmaker. So was thinking this was the grade level? Also, not really sure what it could be worth. There are some etchings of dogs, birds not as elaborate as some of the other guns I have seen. They showed gun value by grading indicated by a letter ex. They mention model #3 & #203, 203E but nothing about #2. The Blue Book of Gun Values online has a link for Victor Sarasqueta guns. There are also #103542 and #12327 between the barrell flats. There are symbols of cross firearms, 850K 75 - 1440 Gmos. On the barrell flats is "A.M.103542" along with Victor Sarasqueta's markings a running rabbit in a diamond shape symbol with his intials VS. Indicative of the markings I do know that the shotgun is a 12 gauge and the chamber length is 2 3/4".

Also, it looks like there is the letter "x" on the water table indicating the year the gun was made which would be 1952. There is an inscription M o 2 which I gather means that the model#2 (see pics).
